AU Optronics has introduced the new solar keybaord that will come in 14-inch notebooks at the upcoming FPD International Fair. The new AU Optronics sunbeam solar keyboard has been announced just after the Logitech K750 Wireless Solar keyboard.The new solar energy keyboard has been equipped with a large solar cell, and also offers a virtual surface on which the entries are made via the touchscreen. According to AU Optronics, the energy consumption can be reduced by up to 20%, which will include the extended battery life of notebooks.
